Connecting the BlackBerry to the Enterprise

When you're talking about the BlackBerry, you don't take into consideration only features like quick e-mailing, but options like integrating these devices to company's enterprise application software (EAS), such as Lotus Domino or Microsoft Exchange, NEON or many others. These types of software are very expensive as they are of a crucial importance for large corporations, where communication and development have their defining role. Therefore, these large companies had already made great investments in an enterprise application software before implementing the BlackBerry devices. This was seen as a great business opportunity for RIM, BlackBerry's maker, which proved to be very beneficial for both developer and customer.
